ROUND 8 PREVIEW – LEAGUE ONE WOMEN’S

WOMEN'S PREVIEW-4

Central Coast Mariners vs Blacktown City FC, Sunday 30 April, 3pm, Pluim Park

Central Coast Mariners take on Blacktown City FC at Pluim Park on Sunday afternoon.

The Mariners suffered their first loss of the season in the Match of the Round and will be keen to bounce back.

It was a forgettable afternoon for the yellow-and-navy but Kaitlin Murphy had another fine performance down the wing.

Annalise Rasmussen came on as a late substitute and was a bright spark which reflects why the Mariners gave her an A-League Womens contract.

Blacktown City FC got themselves back in the winner’s circle with their one-goal win over South East Phoenix FC at Landen Stadium.

Goal scorer Jenny Hughes has worked hard through the first seven weeks and got her reward with the winner and looks to further glory this weekend.

Emma Ingerson had her best performance in a Blacktown City FC shirt and can repeat that work on the Coast and help spring an upset.
