ROUND 17 PREVIEW – LEAGUE ONE WOMEN’S

NEWS-3

Blacktown City FC vs Hills United FC, Sunday 2 July, 4pm, Landen Stadium

Rounding off the weekend is Blacktown City FC taking on Hills United FC at Landen Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Blacktown City FC got back in the winner’s circle with their win over Sutherland Shire FA at Harrie Denning Centre last weekend.

Goals have been hard to come by for Blacktown City FC but Jenny Hughes has scored in back-to-back games and looks to make it three on the spin.

Hills United FC put together a comfortable performance in their win over St George FC at Bella Vista Public School.

The performance would have pleased coach Alan Tasses after a back-to-back draws and hopefully see them keep the pressure up on the top two.

They have League One Womens best defence led by captain and custodian Sarah Easthope which makes them a tough team to beat.
