Blacktown City 0 defeated by vs Nepean FC 5

Local bragging rights went to Nepean FC in their 5-0 win over Blacktown City FC at Landen Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Nepean FC put on a five-star performance and notched up their second win of the season. The visitors strode out to a 2-0 lead at half-time with goals from top scorer Bronte Connolly and Ella Goodwin.

They kept finding the back of the net in the second half with substitutes Jamaica Marshall and a double from Ella Joyce.

The only blemish was a first half red card to Melina Manna for a scuffle.

It was an afternoon to forget for Blacktown City FC. Alyse-May Mccutcheon was the other player to see red in the first half altercation, but the hosts battled hard until they conceded some late goals which blew out the score line.
