Central Coast Mariners bounced back to the winners circle with a 2-0 win over Blacktown City FC at Pluim Park on Sunday afternoon.
The Mariners were hungry to avenge their defeat to UNSW FC last week and were in fine form on their home patch.
Kaya Hawkinson got her first goal of the season to open the game before Annalise Rasmussen doubled their advantage on the hour mark.
Blacktown City FC had one of their best first half performances of the season but weren’t able to capture the big moments of the game. David O’Keefe paid tribute to his midfield stars of Cameron Janssen, Ella Morris and Emma Ingerson for their work rate.
