ROUND 10 PREVIEW – LEAGUE ONE WOMEN’S

WOMEN'S PREVIEW

St George FC vs Blacktown City FC, Sunday 14 May, 3pm, Ilinden Sports Centre

Resurgent St George FC welcome Blacktown City FC to Ilinden Sports Centre for their game on Sunday afternoon.

St George FC have won back-to-back games after their comfortable success over Nepean FC in the west last weekend.

In recent weeks, Kyla Vanderlaan has been a key performer for the Saints and she will aim to replicate that feat on Sunday.

The Saints have risen to sixth in the League One Womens competition and another win can help them continue their momentum.

Blacktown City FC were disappointed in themselves after their loss to local rivals Mt Druitt Town Rangers last weekend.

The visitors will look to Jenny Hughes and Alyse-May Mccutcheon to get them moving forward and finding the back of the net.

Last week was a tough week for the Blacktown City FC backline but they have shown the ability already this season to shut down potent attacks.
