ROUND 26 PREVIEW – LEAGUE ONE WOMEN’S

NEWS

Match of the Round: UNSW FC vs Blacktown City FC, Sunday 3 September, 3pm, The Village Green

Current leaders UNSW FC welcome Blacktown City FC down to The Village Green for their game on Sunday afternoon.

The students inched closer to the title last week after their closely fought 2-1 win over Marconi Stallions at Valentine Sports Park.

Isabella Stinziani has become a super sub for UNSW FC with back-to-back goals and might offer the punch they need late in the game.

UNSW FC know that three points will see them crowned League One Women’s Premiers so they will be ready for the game.

Blacktown City FC were unleashed in their 5-1 win over Inter Lions down at Landen Stadium last weekend.

It was a game that coach David O’Keefe had waited for, Blacktown City FC able to turn their chances into goals in a frustrating season.

A key figure in that was Alyse-May McCutcheon. She found the back of the net twice and continued her strong combination with Jenny Hughes.

This game will be streamed on NPL.TV on Sunday afternoon. Join Pointless winner Eric Subijano behind the microphone for this pivotal clash.
